As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering impactful projects that strengthen communities and modernize Michigan’s transportation network. From large-scale freeway upgrades to innovative urban redevelopment initiatives, your expertise will help drive meaningful progress across the state. What You’ll Do + Produce and interpret engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates to ensure accurate, high‑quality design deliverables. + Prepare detailed technical reports and project work plans, supporting precise and effective execution. + Participate in design reviews, enhance design concepts, and develop creative solutions for complex engineering challenges. + Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of civil engineering specialties.
