We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of design experience, preferably in site development, to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to use your experience to play a lead role in civil engineering design, guided by a Project Manager and supported by other team members. ResponsibilitiesCreate civil engineering plans and technical specifications.Develop engineering calculations for stormwater, utilities, and earthwork.Work with the Project Manager to execute design, create work plans, and track tasks and deliverables.Provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters.Interface with clients and project team members involved in the design.Essential Skills3-5 years of relevant design experience, preferably in site development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to function effectively in a team environment.Focus on client satisfaction.Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.E.I.T. certification.Working knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards for major site development projects in California.Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Hydrology and Hydraulic, WaterCAD.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to mentor entry-level engineers and interns.Experience in civil engineering, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, land development, site development, piping, water resources, project management, civil/structural, civil design, civil construction, civil drawing.Work EnvironmentThe work environment can be hybrid after 90 days. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
