As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering impactful projects that strengthen communities and modernize Michigan’s transportation network. From large-scale freeway upgrades to innovative urban redevelopment initiatives, your expertise will help drive meaningful progress across the state.

What You’ll Do

Produce and interpret engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates to ensure accurate, high‑quality design deliverables.Prepare detailed technical reports and project work plans, supporting precise and effective execution.Participate in design reviews, enhance design concepts, and develop creative solutions for complex engineering challenges.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of civil engineering specialties.

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required3+ years of experience in Roadway DesignJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56.00 - $59.00/hr.
