**Job Title: Construction General Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking construction general laborers to support full site development operations across single family detached residential lots in Front Royal and Winchester, VA. This role involves assisting equipment operators, pipe crews, and grading teams with daily tasks that keep the project moving. Responsibilities include physical labor, material handling, trench work, and general site support across excavation, utilities, and grading activities. **Responsibilities** + Assist with underground utility installation, including staging pipe, fittings, and materials. + Support pipe layers by helping with trench preparation, backfilling, and compaction. + Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site. + Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and maintain safe work areas. + Help operators with spotting, fueling, greasing, and equipment maintenance tasks. + Set up and take down temporary structures, barricades, and safety fencing. + Use hand tools, power tools, shovels, rakes, and compactors as needed. + Assist with grading, stone placement, and general earthwork support. + Follow all safety procedures, including trench safety, PPE, and hazard awareness. + Work closely with foremen, operators, and pipe crews to maintain production flow. **Essential Skills** + Previous construction or site development experience preferred. + Ability to work around heavy equipment and active excavation areas. + Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and construction practices. + Ability to follow directions from supervisors and work as part of a crew. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor, construction, trench digging, manual labor, site cleanup, and material handling. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued and your safety is prioritized.
