Civil 3d Designer
Description Key Responsibilities • Produce detailed civil design drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D • Develop and manage: o Surface models and grading plans o Storm and sanitary pipe networks o Profile views, alignments, and point groups • Support plan set preparation and engineering design packages • Collaborate with engineers on projects including: o Land development and stormwater infrastructure o Dams, levees, and geostructural systems o Environmental remediation and landfill closure • Learn and apply Geosyntec’s CAD standards, workflows, and Autodesk Construction Cloud environment • Communicate effectively with internal teams and respond constructively to feedback Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Qualifications • 3–4 years of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D • Must have worked in a consulting design environment • Exposure to full plan set development and engineering design workflows • Strong understanding of civil infrastructure modeling tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus Skills • Experience with Revit Structural • Hybrid skill set in Civil 3D + Revit is highly desirable • Familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers standards or workflows • Exposure to environmental consulting or federal infrastructure projects Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
