Our client, a leader in Fire Protection, is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in Training to join their team. As a Fire Alarm Technician in Training, you will be part of the service department supporting the safety and security of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Fire Alarm Technician
**Location:** Fort Myers, FL
**Pay Range: $24-25/hour**
**Shift:** 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct service calls and perform systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards.
+ Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of Fire Alarms.
+ Identify code issues and non-conformance issues.
+ Prepare accurate and timely service reports.
+ Install Fire Alarms under the guidance of a qualified technician.
**What's Needed?**
+ Valid driver's license.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Ability to be available on-call when scheduled.
+ Preferred experience in the Fire Protection industry.
+ Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing is a plus.
