CIB Markets Program Analyst - FX Sponsors

About this role:

Wells Fargo’s Macro Group is hiring for an FX Analyst Sales position on the Corporate Rates & FX Sales Team. The role is focused on the marketing and execution of FX products, specifically in support of the risk management needs of Wells Fargo’s Financial Sponsor client base. The position is directly client-facing and core responsibilities include the pricing and booking of trades, providing market updates, post-trade follow-up and interaction with settlements groups, management of client onboarding process, idea generation, and pitch book creation.

The candidate should have a technical understanding of basic FX products with a willingness to expand their knowledge to Rates products in the future. FX Sales team members partner closely with their counterparts in Rates as well as with other CIB coverage partners including Corporate Banking, Fund Finance, Leveraged Finance and Investment Banking to cohesively market the bank’s full suite of client solutions. In this role, you will:

Support the daily business of client coverage, trade execution and trade support for the Financial Sponsors teamParticipate in the execution, booking and post-trade support of the desk’s daily tradesIdentify the market trends, develop market views and prepare market updatesCollaborate and consult with internal partners and interact directly with clientsDevelop an understanding of the fundamentals of credit risk conceptsHelp manage the client onboarding process


Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Markets experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field6+ months of banking experience preferably in a sales & trading capacityStrong interest in global macro marketsBasic understanding of FX products such as FX Forwards, Options, Swaps and Cross-Currency SwapsFamiliarity with credit risk concepts; CVA/DVA/FVAExcellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skillsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsAttention to detail and organizationAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPointAbility to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and work under pressureHigh standard of collaboration to help attain group goals

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$90,000.00 - $150,000.00
