**Job Title: Chop Line Operator** Location: Saint Charles, MO Job Type:Contract to Hire **Job Description** Join a dynamic team as aChop Line Operator, where you'll play a key role in the production of high-quality carbon fiber products. This position involves operating and maintaining the chop line, cutting long strands of carbon fiber into smaller, usable pieces. **Key Responsibilities** + Prepare and monitor the chop line for efficient operation. + Maintain continuous spool supply by tying spools together. + Use the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screen to specify cut types. + Monitor eyelets and remove carbon fiber buildup. + Collect and securely tie bags of finished product. + Learn to build backup chopper heads as you progress. **Required Skills & Experience** + Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience. + general labor, production, or machine operation. + Skilled in using hand tools and packaging equipment. **Preferred Skills** + Basic math and fabrication knowledge. + Experience in construction or carpentry is a plus. **Work Environment** + Extremely hot conditions (over 120°F in summer). + Exposure to carbon fiber dust—protective gear provided. + Long sleeves, pants, gloves, steel-toed boots required. + 12-hour swing shifts with scheduled breaks. + Team-based work environment (teams of two). **Why Join Us?** + Competitive starting wage with performance-based raises. + Growth and development opportunities. + Entry-level friendly with training provided. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.26 - $23.92/hr.
