**Chocker** Job Description This position is responsible for securing vehicles within carriers for transportation. Responsibilities + Ensure the placement and removal of chockers on each car wheel. + Precisely position automobiles within the carriers. + Chock and strap vehicles in the carrier. + Remove chocks and straps at the arrival terminal. + Wear and use required protective equipment while working. + Take responsibility for your own safety while on the job. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. + Capability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. + Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally. + Experience in working with moving mechanical parts and exposure to outside weather conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lorton, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
