**Job Title:** **Chiller Service Technician (Commercial)** **Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas** **$30 and up depending on experience** **Must have 5+ years experience as a Commercial Chiller Service Technician** **Job Description** The Commercial Chiller Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial chiller systems. This role requires a strong understanding of chiller systems, as well as the ability to problem-solve and diagnose issues effectively. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and repair commercial chiller systems. + Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with chiller systems. + Utilize technical manuals and blueprints to ensure accurate repairs and installations. + Operate hand tools and follow OSHA safety standards. + Work with various chiller brands such as York, Carrier, and Trane. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Chiller Service Technician. + Strong ability to diagnose and repair complex chiller issues. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics. + Strong communication skills. + Valid driver's license and clean driving record. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + EPA Universal Certification. + Experience with electrical and mechanical repair. **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company offering fantastic benefits! The job involves exposure to extreme weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Employees must be able to stand and walk throughout the day and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. Travel to various sites, mainly in the local area, with some locations in Wytheville, Covington, and Martinsville. Carpooling options are available, or you may drive yourself to the work sites. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
