**About the Role:**
Asa CBRE Chief Building Engineer, you will perform complex preventive maintenanceand corrective repairs of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment,and grounds at a 6 building global fragrance and flavor manufacturer in Plainsboro, NJ
Shift - Mon-Fri Days Shift
This is NOT a Union Site/Role
Thisjob is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
Follow all applicable codes,regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to buildingoperations and work safety.
Lead operations, assign workorders, and provide technical and procedural training of coworkers andsubcontractors. Arranges for subcontractors as needed.
Consult with clients toschedule preventive maintenance during downtime to cut business interruptionand inconvenience. Plan a preventive maintenance program to ensure thatbuilding machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
Check building systemsincluding fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipmentis within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribedby the client.
Oversee and inspect the workperformed by engineering staff to make sure the work is complete; equipment isfunctioning properly, and client space is in great working condition.
Respondto emergency situations and ask for help when needed.
Apply advanced knowledge toseek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual anddepartment objectives.
Showcase expertise in own jobdiscipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within theorganization function.
Coachothers to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas withinthe function.

The minimum salary for the position is or $45.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $51.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
