We are expanding our finance team and are looking for a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for accounting processes, coordination of financial closings, and cooperation with GBS within an international group.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Managing the company’s complete accounting agenda in compliance with applicable legislation and accounting standards.
+ Coordinating monthly and annual financial closings in accordance with US GAAP.
+ Methodological leadership of the accounting team and close cooperation with GBS (Global Business Services).
+ Reviewing accounting records and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions.
+ Preparing tax returns and statistical reports.
+ Cooperating with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
+ Setting up, implementing, and overseeing internal accounting and financial processes.
+ Managing cash flow, overseeing liabilities, and monitoring their timely settlement.
+ Handling tax-related matters in line with US GAAP and cooperating with the parent company on tax reporting.
+ Active cooperation with other departments across the company.
**Ideal candidate:**
+ Secondary or university education in finance.
+ At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
+ Knowledge of electronic accounting systems.
+ Good knowledge of Czech accounting standards (CZ GAAP).
+ Advanced level of English (spoken and written).
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
**Preferred qualifications and experience:**
+ Professional financial certifications.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment within a corporate company.
+ Experience with Oracle ERP systems; knowledge of US GAAP.
