The Order Picker/Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for accurately selecting, retrieving, and staging products from warehouse inventory using specialized equipment such as cherry pickers (order picker lifts). This role ensures timely and precise order fulfillment while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.
ResponsibilitiesOperate cherry picker/order picker equipment to access products stored at various rack heights.Accurately pick, scan, and stage items according to customer orders and warehouse management system (WMS).Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before staging for shipment.Safely maneuver equipment in narrow aisles and elevated positions.Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.Assist with replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory control tasks.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet productivity and accuracy goals.Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.Essential SkillsAbility to operate cherry picker/order picker equipment.Comfortable working at heights.Proficiency in using RF scanners.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience with picking, put away, and RF scan gun operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with shipping and receiving.Ability to operate sit down forklifts and reach trucks.Why Work Here?Join a company with a great culture and over 100 employees, where you can thrive in a supportive environment.
