Job Description

The cherry picker operator will engage in picking and put-away tasks utilizing the cherry picker forklift. This role requires heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and involves consistent outdoor work.

Responsibilities

Operate cherry picker forklift to efficiently handle picking and put-away tasks.Utilize RF scan gun for inventory management.Engage in heavy lifting duties, handling weights up to 50 lbs.Coordinate with warehouse associates to ensure smooth workflow.Maintain safety standards and adhere to company protocols.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in cherry picker operations.1+ years of experience in warehouse settings.1+ years of experience using RF scan guns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift certification is advantageous.Experience with outdoor forklifts.Bac k ground in lumber or plumbing is a plus.

Work Environment

Work within a large distribution center specializing in plumbing equipment, including pipes, water tanks, and various parts. The role requires being in the yard 100% of the time, prepared for all weather conditions. The warehouse consists of cherry pickers, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts. The team includes 19 members in the warehouse and 2 in the yard, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. Dress code requires steel-toed shoes and weather-appropriate attire. The shift runs from Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm, with potential overtime. Candidates may need to train on the day shift before transitioning to afternoons.
