Job Title: Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cherry Picker Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. This role involves operating warehouse equipment to pull orders for an electrical wiring distributor, ensuring the warehouse is maintained in an orderly and clean state while following all company safety procedures.

Responsibilities*Need at least 2 years of Cherry picker operating experience*Operate cherry picker and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state.Follow all company safety procedures and perform daily safety inspections on equipment.Receive incoming materials, accurately identify and break down materials, note discrepancies, and prepare orders for shipping.Select, check, and pack UPS orders accurately, following WMS processes for packing, weighing, manifesting, palletizing, and loading.Essential SkillsExperience with order picking and material handling.Proficiency in using RF scanner technology.Ability to perform inventory control and manage staging orders.Knowledge of packaging and paper processing.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of material handling and packaging processes.Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and move freely within the warehouse.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a traditional warehouse environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes. Safety shoes, goggles, and gloves are required. The role requires physical activity, including lifting and moving materials. The 2nd shift operates from 12 PM to 9 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
