Job Title: Chemist OperatorJob Description

The Chemist Operator will produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients using Chemical Reactors. They will follow a specific Batch Record to ensure a consistent product.

ResponsibilitiesHandle various unit operations such as reactions, filtration, distillation, drying, milling, etc., performed on raw materials and at various stages of chemical processing according to written manufacturing procedures and SOPs.Follow and document per batch sheet instructions to produce products in accordance with all cGMP guidelines.Set up equipment including vessels, tanks, centrifuges, and dryers for proper processing.Clean and verify equipment and vessels.Record observations of operating conditions.Drive and operate a fork truck.Prioritize work and make timing decisions with supervisory oversight.Adjust utilities to maintain reaction parameters.Maintain process flow through the plant while adhering to all safety, GMP, and environmental regulations/standards.Essential SkillsExperience as a Chemist Operator.Knowledge of GC and Analytical Chemistry.Proficiency in Chemical Operating and Chemistry.Experience in Batching.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.2-3 years of Pharma Chemical Operating experience preferred.Work Environment

The work environment consists of a clean laboratory and production environment. The shift follows a 2-2-3 schedule, operating from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with work occurring every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
