Chemist - Medical Device Company
Description
The Chemist in this position is responsible for performing routine and non-routine quality tests to help ensure quality and further the development of their pharmaceutical platforms. The primary instrumentation utilized in this lab is HPLC, UPLC and GC. The chemist is expected to follow Good Lab Practices (GLP) regulatory requirements and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
Responsibilities:
Performs preparation collection measurement and recordkeeping of samplesDocuments test and data analysis resultsSupports development area as needed / commercial QC releaseCommunicates with team members to ensure schedule requirements are metApplies knowledge of performed tasks to elucidate test method failuresAnalyzes and deduces data and collates test resultsCommunicates priority and timeliness for completion of customer requestsHelps drive the team to meet business goalsLearns and understands the manufacturing organization that the lab supportsSkills

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related science6+ months of wet chemistry experience in regulated industry6+ months of experience with GMP/cGMP/GLP6+ months of chromotography experience (HPLC, GC, UPLC, dissolution, Karl Fischer, FTIR, UV-Vis)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
