Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30‑minute meal break at 11:00 AM) Pay Rate: $30/hour Job Summary GE Healthcare is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the processing of scintillator materials used in CT subassembly production. This role is hands-on and technically focused, involving furnace operation, powder processing, analytical testing, and chemical handling. In addition to meeting daily production goals, the Manufacturing Technician will collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor calcine furnaces, disk mills, and compactor equipment within the powder processing room. Perform material processing tasks including furnace loading/unloading, product formation, and densification. Collect and record production data accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct product sampling and analytical testing, including Particle Size Analysis and ICP testing. Handle chemicals safely, including both liquid and solid materials. Adhere strictly to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, including PPE usage, housekeeping standards, and hazard reporting. Follow GE Healthcare’s Quality Management System and standard operating procedures to ensure defect‑free material. Meet production delivery targets by monitoring output, escalating issues, and minimizing downtime and scrap. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot process issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and safety‑focused work environment.
