Job Title: Chemical Technician on the Graveyard Shift

Job Description

This role involves the precise weighing and mixing of chemicals using a variety of tools, including digital scales, pumps, filtration systems, and manual valves. The position requires interaction with process control software and factory automation systems, with appropriate guidance. Responsibilities also include the packaging, labeling, and documentation of finished products using computerized label printing machines, box lifters, and fork trucks. Candidates should be comfortable handling hazardous waste and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Accurately weigh and mix chemicals using digital scales, pumps, filtration systems, and manual valves.Interface with process control software and factory automation systems with assistance.Package, label, and document finished products using computerized label printing machines, box lifters, and fork trucks.

Essential Skills

Chemical mixing and handling expertise.Experience as a chemical technician in a manufacturing setting.Ability to work with hazardous materials safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.At least 6 months of hands-on experience in a chemical environment.Physical capability to handle 25-50lbs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in following operational instructions and material safety data sheets (MSDS).Team-oriented and able to follow directions effectively.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
