Plant Operator
Pay: $20 - $26/HR

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Operator for our facility located in Sacramento, California. This role focuses on the handling and manufacturing of chlorine and TChlor products, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Repackage chlorine and TChlor into totes and drums.Load trailers with TChlor and chlorine tonners.Manufacture TChlor to specific percentages.Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, washing, and bead blasting of 150's and tons.Rebuild valves as needed.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.Maintain accurate documentation and records.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.Ability to stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to climb ladders and work at heights.Ability to don and doff personal protective equipment (PPE) multiple times per day.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Willingness to learn and follow proper chemical handling procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in chemical manufacturing or handling.Familiarity with DOT regulations and PSM requirements.Knowledge of pumps and their operation.Experience with forklift operation.Basic computer skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a day shift position in a manufacturing setting. Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Training will be provided in product knowledge, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
