Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Chemical Mixers. There are three open positions available, with shifts on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd schedules. Candidates must be flexible to train on the 2nd or 3rd shift for a few months. This is a direct placement opportunity with a competitive starting pay rate.
ResponsibilitiesMeet with the 2nd shift foreman to review daily tasks and goals.Train in various areas of the plant on different production procedures.Follow work instructions to mix pigments for paint.Wear a respirator when performing mixing operations.Lift bags weighing 50-60 lbs to load into the blender.Adhere to batch tickets with specified weights and procedures.Operate paint kettles, pigment reactors, and grinding machines.Load bulk weigh stations accurately.Utilize computers to read Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mixing instructions.Perform basic math calculations for batch weights.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 60 lbs.Comfortable wearing a respirator.Chemical mixing and compounding experience.Proficient in reading and following standard operating procedures.Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious chemical mixing or compounding experience is a plus.Steel toe boots are required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a unique setting with only 15 employees at the plant. The environment is laid back, and you won’t be micromanaged during your shift. The facility can be dusty due to pigment mixing, with pink and orange paint dust covering surfaces. While somewhat temperature-controlled, the environment can be warm in summer and cool in winter. Uniforms are provided to protect personal clothing from dust and paint. The work involves using industrial machines like kettles and mixers, although the noise level is not excessively loud. Respirators are used during the mixing and pouring of chemicals and pigments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.
