**Job Title: Chemical Mixer ($23+)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated Chemical Mixers for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves training on both shifts for several months to ensure proficiency in various production procedures within our facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Meet with the 2nd shift foreman to review daily tasks and objectives.
+ Train in different areas of the plant on various production procedures.
+ Follow work instructions to mix pigments for paint while wearing a respirator.
+ Lift bags weighing 50-60 lbs to load into blenders.
+ Adhere to batch tickets with specified weights and procedures.
+ Train on operating paint kettles, pigment reactors, and grinding machines.
+ Load bulk weigh stations accurately.
+ Use a computer to read Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mixing instructions.
+ Perform basic math calculations for batch weights.
**Essential Skills**
+ Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
+ Must be able to wear a respirator.
+ Must have steel toe boots.
+ At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
+ Experience reading standard operating procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous chemical mixing or compounding experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Work in a facility founded in the 1940s, known for inventing fluorescent color and now a global manufacturer. Our plant has a laid-back environment with only 15 employees, and offers autonomy without constant supervision. The facility is somewhat temperature-controlled, though it can be dusty with pink and orange paint dust. Uniforms are provided, and respirators are used during mixing operations. Industrial machines are present but the noise level is manageable.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Twinsburg, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.
