Sodexo is currently seeking a Chef Manager to join our culinary team at Brethren Village, an upscale Life Plan Community located in Lititz, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity to grow your culinary career!
This Chef Manager will report to our Executive Chef and assist with leading a team of approximately 25 employees. This position will oversee all aspects of food production, quality assurance, safety, and service. The ideal candidate will have strong sanitation knowledge along with high-volume dining experience. Typical shift is 10:00 am - 6:30pm may vary with every other weekend coverage.
What You'll Do oversee daily operations of the kitchen serving approximately 285 assisted living and skilled care residents;be hands-on;ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed;mentor and train cooks;assist with ordering and inventory; ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;mentor and train cooks.
