Position Summary
The Chef supports daily kitchen operations for K-12 school and residential dining accounts by preparing high-quality meals, following standardized recipes, and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. This role works under the direction of the Chef Manager or General Manager in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production schedules Ensure compliance with USDA school nutrition guidelines (K-12 accounts) and client standards (residential accounts) Maintain proper food temperatures, labeling, dating, and storage Assist with meal service, serving lines, and special events Follow HACCP, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times Maintain clean, organized workstations and kitchen equipment Support inventory control, product rotation (FIFO), and waste reduction Work collaboratively to ensure timely, efficient meal service
