Minimum 3–5 years coding experience in an acute care setting preferred. Associates or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred. Minimal 1-year Coding experience required. Charge entry experience in an acute-care hospital setting preferred. Credential required within 1-year of hire date: CCA, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC-A, or CPC.
