As a Senior Product associate within the Digital Middleware Platforms team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 

Job responsibilities

Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discoveryConsiders and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experienceManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapSupports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customersAnalyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycleDefine and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria  to support product development  and participate in all agile events of the product group as a team member Partner with Area Product Owners and product team for ongoing refinement of product backlog and execution of the product roadmapWork closely with other product teams, legal, risk, operations, design and technology teams to define, prioritize, deliver and align solutions to product vision and roadmapSupport feature teams with Minimum Viable Product (MVP) testing, user experience testing, product backlog refinement, research and other duties as assignedSupport Product Owner and Area Product Owners with developing business cases and/or measuring/improving operational results, as well as driving strategic decision-makingIdentify and partner with business stakeholders to implement changes in operational policies, process flows, procedures, and specialist tools and customer messages

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaProficient knowledge of the product development life cycleExperience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definitionDeveloping knowledge of data analytics and data literacyDemonstrated proficiency in managing digital platforms and projects, with experience in Jira management and backlog refinement to ensure efficient workflowStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders to align on priorities and objectivesProven leadership skills with a focus on fostering teamwork and collaboration, driving proactive initiatives and maintaining a positive team environmentUtilize data analysis to inform and improve business processes, ensuring that decisions are backed by solid data and contribute to strategic goalsExperience working with globally distributed scrum teamsIn-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (example: Confluence, JIRA, GRIT, etc.)Ability to manage backlog and dependency tasks with Auth Product APG’s and external Products
