We're seeking a collaborative leader to provide advisory services to executives and business leaders while governing strategic and complex enterprise change management across TD. This role is specifically focused on leading change activities within the Canadian Personal Bank (CPB) Chief Operating Office (COO).

Job Description:

Supporting the CPB Remediation & Controls team, this role will support change management efforts across the CPB COO Pillar and all related activities working with a team of Change Managers, providing advice and guidance to a broad range of stakeholders on how to leverage strategic change management principles to support benefits realization for the initiatives / programs or projects, manage risks/issues and contribute to a positive stakeholder experience.

Key Accountabilities:

Act as the Change Manager for the CPB COO Pillar - accountable for the delivery of change management activities, including sustainment plans, to support all key transformational initiatives aligned to CPB Journey roadmaps and a broad range of business segments' strategies and objectives.Work directly with product owners/ sponsor to identify change adoption metrics and desired outcomes for key stakeholders.Make effective business decisions that are supported by a strong understanding of the end-to-end customer experience and colleague adoption enablers across multiple channels.Develop strategies that drive Journey OKRs while leveraging the change approach that will be meaningful to each respective impacted channel.Using a TD Scaled Agility approach develop strategic change and sustainment plans aligned to business priorities.Communicate difficult concepts converting technical information into compelling business context and advice to drive adoption.Support, clarify and lead work packages including constraints and prioritizing customer experience.Conduct complex analysis on current and future state to make recommendations, assess effectiveness of solutions, and manage risk.Identify change adoption risks and work with partners to develop a thorough plan to mitigate risk.Leverage a user-experience design lens to assess, understand and recommend impactful change activities that will drive desired colleague behaviours and meet customer needs.Contribute to the execution of Change Management activities including review of communication artifacts and collateral.Lead and collaborate with a diverse range of working colleagues and partners, including Platforms, within CPB and across the Enterprise to assess potential and actual complex change processes.Engage appropriate partners and collaborate across TD to drive successful change and desired resultsFacilitate a smooth transition into steady state (e.g. ongoing processes exist, viable workarounds identified for any defects, handover of ownership)Solves unusual and ambiguous problems that can affect business and change outcomes/benefitsBe a Next Evolution of Work Change Ambassador and Champion, leading this change with colleagues across CPBEnable internal and external business operations compliance (e.g. financial, regulatory, other controls)Promote colleague engagement with the Change Management Community of Interest to further develop and foster a growth mindset.

Job Requirements: 

Undergraduate degree considered an asset.Relevant Change Management accreditations and/or relevant practical experienceFive or more years of related experience, working in a project environment.Advanced knowledge of change management principles, industry standards and methodologies, project management, organizational and business transformation practices.Strong organizational awareness including experience in CPB is an asset.Skill in using software tools, applications (MS Office), data analysis methods and reporting techniques.Ability to negotiate and influence.Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively in both oral and written form; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships, succeed in a team and work independently.Ability to exercise good judgement in making decisions.Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable and comfortable working through ambiguity.Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations.
