Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our dynamic team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven leader who can oversee financial planning, accounting practices, and risk management while driving operational efficiency and compliance. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s financial direction and empowering the Accounting, Treasury, and IT teams to achieve their goals. To be considered for this role, please call Noe Silva at 808.452.0264 Responsibilities: • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational objectives. • Direct and manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. • Oversee investment planning, asset management, and long-term financial initiatives. • Ensure full compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. • Conduct and manage both internal and external audit processes. • Lead, mentor, and support the Accounting, Treasury, and IT departments. • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and drive organizational growth. • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, insurance providers, and key vendors. • Promote a culture of ethical leadership, safety, and security across all business functions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. • A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial standards and federal/state regulations. • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and solve problems effectively. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly platforms such as JD Edwards, and advanced knowledge of Excel and Word. • Strong understanding of contracts and agreements. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
