Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a CFD/Thermal Systems Engineer in Sterling Heights, MI. This engineer will perform system and subsystem level CFD simulations to support vehicle design optimization and ensure cooling and thermal management requirements are met. Responsibilities include leading cross platform design coordination, developing test plans, validating CFD results against physical test data, and improving simulation strategies and toolsets. The engineer will work closely with design teams, provide technical recommendations, prepare formal reports, and support occasional off site testing. Evening or weekend overtime may be required based on project needs.
Compensation:
$50/hr to $55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Strong fundamentals in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
• Proficient with ANSA for model prep and FLUENT for CFD analysis
• Experience optimizing vehicle designs for CFD and thermal performance
• Ability to present technical data clearly to non technical audiences
• Proficient with Microsoft Office • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance
• Experience with Teamcenter, VisMockup, Creo, NX, etc.
• Experience with optimization tools such as Isight or HEEDS
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink or multi domain simulation tools
• Experience with AI based engineering or data analysis tools
• Background in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools
