Job Title: Certified Structural Welder
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Structural Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess both LA City Welding Certification and AWS (American Welding Society) Certification, demonstrating expertise in structural steel welding for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role demands precision, safety, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural welding tasks in accordance with LA City and AWS standardsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbolsFabricate and assemble structural components using SMAW and FCAWConduct visual and mechanical inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specificationsOperate welding equipment and tools safely and efficientlyCollaborate with engineers, foremen, and other trades to meet project deadlinesMaintain accurate records of work completed and materials usedAdhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policiesPreferred Qualifications:
Valid LA City Welding Certification (required)Current AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification (required)Minimum 3 years of experience in structural weldingProficient in Flux Core and Arc Welding Proficient in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloysAbility to pass welding tests and inspections as requiredStrong understanding of welding codes, standards, and safety practicesPhysical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions/environmentsPay and Location:
Pay can be flexible up to $40/hr
Job Sites will vary any where from the local Ventura County to Santa Barbara and San Fernando Valley.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.84 - $30.84/hr.
