Certified Project Manager

Our client supporting educational initiatives and internal services, is seeking a Certified Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Project Management Office supporting state educational programs and internal DPI customers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Certified Project Manager**
**Location: Madison, WI**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and coach project teams using hybrid Agile/PMI methodology
+ Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning
+ Create and maintain project documentation (Charters, Risk Assessments, Stakeholder Analysis, etc.)
+ Manage product backlogs and system dependencies
+ Coordinate UAT efforts and support QA tasks
+ Liaise between IT teams, DPI business units, and external vendors
+ Support CRM-focused projects and integrations (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ **2–5 years** Agile/Scrum experience (CSM certification required)
+ **2–5 years** PMI project management experience
+ Experience writing business requirements and functional specifications
+ Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
+ Familiarity with .NET development environments
+ Experience using **Azure DevOps** , **Asana** , and managing sprint backlogs
+ Proficiency in CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with education software systems (school, district, or state level)
+ Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting
