Certified Payroll Coordinator
Seeking a Certified Payroll Coordinator in the Omaha Area!! Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Certified Payroll Coordinator to manage and coordinate prevailing wage compliance for our organization. This role involves generating timely and accurate reports, reconciling payroll errors, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities + Provide timely and accurate reports to meet the needs of various teams. + Reconcile and troubleshoot certified payroll reporting errors. + Generate, format, and analyze reports using SAP, Service Now, and other software applications. + Enter data manually or upload it to various software applications, such as LCPtracker. + Develop and maintain a network across all levels of company management. + Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external departments. + Collaborate with subcontractors to set up and maintain weekly submissions. + Utilize SAP to pull information, report, and maintain company craft hours to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. + Monitor and communicate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulations. + Engage in regular email communications with field personnel. + Pull weekly payroll for projects and export information through SAP. Essential Skills + 1+ year of experience in a professional role such as banking, HR, accounting, payroll, or any office-related position. + Proficiency in accounting, banking, invoice processing, and SAP. + Strong communication skills. + Reliability and self-motivation. + Experience in a fast-paced work environment. + Ability to handle challenging conversations about compliance. + High school diploma required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Understanding of HR regulations. + Time management skills. + Experience in prevailing wage compliance. + Experience in submitting certified payroll. + Background in accounting or banking. Work Environment The role involves an 8-hour shift between 7 am and 6 pm, with a hybrid schedule available after 90 days. The position offers benefits from day one, including paid time off, paid holidays, and participation in a wellness program. The work environment is fast-paced and self-directed, requiring proactive management without micromanagement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
