Position Overview: Always Best Care of Fairfax is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personalized, in-home care for a single client living with Parkinson’s Disease. This part-time position involves 12-hour shifts in a residential home setting, focusing on enhancing the client’s quality of life through assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, social engagement, and support for attending events and activities. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping the client live a full, engaged, and dignified life, despite the challenges of Parkinson’s.  Primary Responsibilities: * Ensure the client remains socially and mentally engaged throughout the day * Provide personal care tailored to the needs of an individual with Parkinson’s Disease, including assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.) * Escort the client to medical appointments, social events, and community activities * Collaborate closely with family members, healthcare professionals, and other care professionals to maintain a consistent and high-quality continuum of care Qualifications: * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active license in the state of Virginia * Experience caring for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease or forms of dementia strongly preferred * Physically able to assist with transfers using gait belts or other mobility aids * Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation * Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach Caregiver Benefits: * Competitive pay * Paid training and ongoing professional development opportunities * Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile for client-related travel Join our team and make a difference in the lives of others!
