Certified Nurse Midwife
Swedish Medical Group is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join a shared group practice in Seattle, Washington. This team aims to eliminate health disparities and improve perinatal outcomes through independent, anti-racist, trauma-informed, evidence-based midwifery care. This is a caring team of midwives who collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, RNs, IBCLCs and support staff who are committed to midwifery. In this role, you will help the group manage approximately 50 deliveries per month in a large tertiary care center. The practice has a low c-section rate and excellent perinatal outcomes. Ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-oriented, and can work independently with minimal support. * Experienced full-scope midwife preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply * AMCB Certification, active DEA, WA State RN/ARNP license and certification from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program required * Mix of perinatal care, first assisting for cesareans, GYN problem visits and annual exams, family planning, and lactation * This position requires a mix of weekday, night and weekend shifts as well as flexibility around schedule patterns * Comprehensive benefits include health, vision, dental and retirement * As a non-profit organization, Swedish is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program * Compensation is between $141,611 and $193,063 per year * The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.
