**Responsibilities**
+ **Clinical Partnership:** Facilitate patient examinations and treatments, working under the direct guidance of providers and nursing leadership to deliver exceptional care.
+ **Patient Advocacy:** Be the first friendly face patients see; you’ll interview patients, capture vital signs, and ensure their medical history is accurately reflected in their charts.
+ **Clinical Readiness:** Take ownership of the clinical environment by preparing treatment rooms and managing essential supplies, ensuring every exam starts on the right foot.
+ **Precision Documentation:** Act as a clinical scribe by documenting patient encounters, recording diagnoses, and transcribing follow-up instructions or prescriptions exactly as directed by the provider.
+ **Workflow Coordination:** Manage the "behind-the-scenes" essentials, from transcribing laboratory and radiology orders to handling light clerical duties and record-keeping.
**Requirements**
Licensure /Certification/Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.
+ Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
