About the Opportunity

A well‑established cardiovascular clinic in Lewisville is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to support our back‑office team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful patient interaction, steady daytime hours, and being part of a collaborative, specialty‑focused environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and room patients, gather vitals, and update medical historiesAssist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic testingPerform EKGs and help set up cardiac monitoring (Holter/Event)Manage specimen collection, lab processing, and point‑of‑care testingMaintain exam rooms, supplies, and overall clinic readinessComplete medication reconciliation and accurate EMR documentationSupport patient education related to cardiovascular health and treatment plansHelp keep patient flow smooth and efficient throughout the dayWhat You BringActive CMA certificationPrevious cardiology or specialty experience is helpful, but not requiredStrong clinical skills and comfort working directly with patientsExcellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilitiesA team‑first mindset and a willingness to learnWhy You’ll Love It HereConsistent Monday–Friday, 8–5 scheduleNo nights, weekends, or major holidaysSupportive team and positive clinic cultureCompetitive pay based on experienceFull benefits package available

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
