Certified Medical Assistant
Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our pediatric and family medicine practice. The role involves rooming patients for provider visits, taking patient vitals, and documenting medical history and information into the EMR system. You will assist in preparing exam rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary medical equipment. Additionally, handling patient follow-up calls and messages post visits is part of the responsibilities. Responsibilities + Room patients for provider visits, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including newborns. + Take patient vitals and medical history, documenting information into the EMR system. + Assist with restocking medical equipment and preparing exam rooms ahead of provider visits. + Handle patient follow-up calls and messages post visits. Essential Skills + Medical Assistant certification + Active CPR and BLS certification + High School Diploma or GED equivalent + Comfortable working with patients from newborns. + Ability to work in a busy clinic environment Work Environment Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, with one late night per week from 12pm to 8pm. There is also a requirement to work one Saturday per month from 8am to 4pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
