Job Description
We are currently seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team in Goleta, CA. The role involves performing technical functions to support development engineering activities, including the setup, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems. The technician will work with experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment, which may include analog, digital, and/or video type circuits and logic systems.
ResponsibilitiesConduct engineering and development tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in general research work.Diagnose and correct electronic circuitry malfunctions.Assist in the development of electronic equipment.Provide design details and recommend modifications to engineering designs as needed.Prepare instructional guides for repairing, calibrating, and maintaining equipment and systems.Possibility of up to 10% travel based on program needs.Essential SkillsProficiency in electronics, electrical systems, soldering, harnessing, blueprint reading, circuit testing, and test equipment operation.Ability to work from diagrams, drawings, and detailed procedures.Expertise in operating both electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsHarnessing/Crimping certification to J or NASA-Standards.Expertise with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.Experience with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials, and other commonly used chemicals in manufacturing.Ability to take direction from multiple sources and manage time to meet daily milestones and longer-term project commitments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $43.00/hr.
