As a Full Time Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Gaithersburg, MD. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in Ergonomics.

Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) OR Certified Industrial Ergonomist (CIE) certification required, strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury preventionPerform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategiesLead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programsCollaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasuresDocument assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate mannerMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordParticipate in meetings and task forcesOther duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education programCurrent BOC Certified Athletic TrainerCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesCertification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
