Summary
Manage and apply resources to general clinical operations, guided by experience, organizational goals and operational strategies. Also responsible for the management of cyclical projects.Job Description
Work on complex clinical matters where analysis of issues, data and process require advanced specialist knowledge and in-depth industry and technical knowledge. Direct the overall administration of medical facilities, long term care, clinics and/or hospital. Lead daily operations, through ensuring effective and efficient utilization of staffing and resources of the facility. Direct, develop, implement and coordinate operational activities. Develop strategic plans, including facility assessment, that enhance the patient care experience while keeping staff accountable for set departmental goals. Accomplish and maintain patient care, safety and education, along with community service goals through the enhancement of needed services and the procurement of cost-efficient methods to provide those services. Advise leadership on strategic responses for state and local environment, including the health care industry. Guide leadership on facility-wide financial planning, budgeting, investment priorities and policy matters. Lead and develop managers and staff in alignment with enterprise mission, vision and values. Must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of state and local healthcare regulations and standards. The Administrator is the Compliance Liaison of the facility, with a responsibility to support the Chief Compliance Officer in carrying out the Compliance Program.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration or a related field. Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a master’s degree in a related field preferred.Minimum three years of management experience, preferably in a health care environment, or past experience commensurate with areas of responsibility required. Five years of health care management experience at the director level or higher preferred
Active nursing home administrator's license in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required is preferred and may be required based on facility needs.
