As a Central Sterile Supply (CSS) Inventory intern, you will support sterile storage organization, including soft goods reorganization and tray relabeling to improve efficiency and compliance.

This internship provides a meaningful learning experience where you’ll work side‑by‑side with a supportive team member. You’ll take on real project responsibilities and assist with initiatives that help drive the department’s work forward.

Location: On-Site - Sentara Norfolk General Hospital - 600 Gresham Dr, Norfolk, VA

Hours per week: 20-30

Duration: 12-15 weeks

Responsibilities:

Support colleagues with project tasks and deliverablesHelp with administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings or preparing reportsConduct research and analysis on topics relevant to the departmentContribute to the development and execution of projectsPrepare and organize data for presentations and reportsParticipate in team meetings and brainstorming sessionsCommunicate ongoing progress related to currently assigned tasks and assist with day-to-day operations.

Education

Must be currently pursuing and/or enrolled in a college or university at an undergraduate or graduate level.
