**Central Services Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as an Central Services Technician, where you will play a crucial role in preparing glassware for sterilization and media preparation. This position offers a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work, and flexible start and end times between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM. **Responsibilities** + Manually wash or operate machines to clean and remove impurities from glass products, manufactured articles, and plastics. + Remove glassware and media from autoclaves, cool and tighten lids. + Organize and rotate glassware and laboratory supplies. + Prepare equipment for autoclaving. + Maintain accurate documentation of processes. + Assist with training new employees. + Maintain, clean, or sterilize laboratory instruments or equipment. + Perform routine cleaning of the processing area. + Cross-train in multiple functional areas. + Requisition materials for the department as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Adapt to flexible hours and work weekends or holidays as required by business needs. **Essential Skills** + Cleaning and sterile processing + Proficiency in washing and sterilization techniques + Experience with autoclaves and production processes + Media preparation and documentation process **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or GED equivalency + Preference for some post-secondary education **Why Work Here?** Experience the benefits of working 1st shift with an opportunity for full-time employment. Physical demands require lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, moving throughout all production areas, and standing and bending during the entire shift. Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination are necessary for success in this role. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
