Central Plant Engineering Manager

The **Central Plant Engineering Manager** will be responsible for managing, directing, coordinating, and controlling the hotel’s central plant operations. Tasks will include but not limited to the following: § Using the hotel’s building automation system (Desigo) for adjustments with hotel temperatures and mechanical equipment. § Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on systems and equipment. § Utilization of the hotel’s service request system (HotSOS), ensure request are completed in a timely manner. § Follow up on the status of work performed by outside vendors. § Monitor and provide reports/updates on a daily basis regarding team’s work status. § Perform daily inspections of central plant equipment & mechanical spaces. Complete progress and informational logs. § Maintain appropriate inventory of parts and maintenance materials. § Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders including colleagues; customers, leaders. **Hyatt has the best to offer including: After 30 Days, eligible for medical health care including dental, vision, 401(k), free colleague meals during shifts, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, paid Family Bonding time, discounted and complimentary room nights at Hyatt's across the globe and much more!** **Qualifications:** **QUALIFICATIONS** + A minimum of 5-years, strong building systems; life/safety systems; plant operations and building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. + Strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical} and HVAC systems. + EPA Universal Certification Required. + Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required. + Ability and willing to work flexible schedule including various shifts; holidays, weekends. + Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to send texts and emails using a smart phone application. + Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a timely manner. **Primary Location:** US-GA-Atlanta **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Atlanta **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Engineering/Facility Maintenance **Req ID:** ATL007775 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
