The Central Intake Manager in Home Health manages and supervises all administrative and operational activities within Central Intake to include referral acceptance and processing, obtaining of initial and ongoing authorizations for private insurance payers, oversight of Home Med Monitoring Program.


Primary Responsibilities:

Oversees and monitors telephone referrals from all referral sources including but not limited to, Physicians, Hospital Social Workers, Hospital Discharge Planners, Nurses, patients, and familiesImplements protocols related to Central Intake operations dealing with finance, case management, referral process, marketing, and liaison with Answering Service for branch operationsAssures the staffing of Central Intake with qualified personnel. Selects, orients, manages, and evaluates Central Intake staffCompiles reports for Senior Staff to include statistics for DON's, referrals, marketing  activities as neededParticipates in short and long-range planning based on the company goals and objectivesAnalyzes and requests system enhancements related to company databaseAssists finance department and branches with payer code changes and authorizations upon notification of patients insurance carrier changes as neededManages the operational functions of teams on an ongoing basisTravels to provide assistance in branch offices as neededManages and directs operations of Central Intake and monitors branch schedule of availability to assure appropriate acceptance and staffing of referralsCoordinates the staffing of cases with Branch Managers and Administrators as required, to assureAcceptance of all possible referralsAttends and participates in workshops, continuing educational programs, seminars, etc. to keep abreast of current departmental changesAttends and participates in annual in-service training programsAll other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in health care  2+ years of managerial experience


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $48,700 to $87,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
