Job Description:
Job Summary:The Center/Bonded Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily administrative and operational activities at the center and bonded warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. He/She will coordinate effectively between teams, provide strong leadership to manage staff, and uphold high standards of productivity, compliance, and safety. He/She plays a key role in ensuring that center and bonded warehouse operations align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and performance targets.
Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day operations of the center and bonded warehouse, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies and customs regulations.
Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound activities.
Oversee documentation and procedures specific to bonded warehouse operations, including customs paperwork, inventory control, and audit compliance.
Coordinate closely with logistics, warehousing, and administrative teams to meet delivery timelines and service standards.
Ensure staff adhere to health, safety, and security regulations at all times.
Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
Resolve operational issues and staff concerns promptly and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of operations, including daily reports, attendance, inventory logs, and audit trails.
Collaborate with management to recommend and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:Diploma or Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Proven experience in administrative and operational roles, preferably in a logistics or bonded warehouse environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks under pressure.
Experience in handling bonded warehouse operations and customs requirements is an added advantage.
