CEMS Technician

Job Description:

Provide field support in an industrial setting to clients to ensure the accurate, stable, and on-going operation of client or company owned equipmentInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain continuous emissions monitoring equipment produced by a variety of manufacturers located at customer sitesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on client equipmentProvide technical support to clients via telephone and/or emailProvide feedback and documentation of work performed to client and internal resourcesConsult with client to explore needs and develop action plans to ensure that those needs are met quickly and efficientlyCommunicate with client to implement any necessary corrective actionsSupport and comply with all safety requirements associated with the positionDrive company vehicles in a safe and responsible mannerProject a professional image of the company at all timesPerform in-house equipment repair, fabrication, and maintenanceUnderstand and follow company policies and proceduresRender other and unrelated services and duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

Previous experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipmentStrong communication and customer service skillsMinimum high school diploma or equivalentAble to travel as needed on a week-to-week basisMilitary experience is a plus

Additional Information:

Employee must be able to travel to various client sites, both locally and nationwide, sometimes spending a few days at each site, to provide CEMS installation, maintenance, and operations services for industrial clients on projects that have been assigned to employee by corporate officeAll travel time and expenses - including lodging, company vehicle, fuel, daily per diem - are paid for by companyFrequent overtime available at 1.5x pay rate

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $39.00/hr.
