Cell Technician
**Job Title: Cell Technician** **Job Description** This role involves the production of dispensing closures with a focus on quality and cost efficiency. The position requires troubleshooting process problems, performing necessary changes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity. **Pay Rate: $20-24** **Responsibilities** + Ensure mold, assembly machine, and auxiliary equipment operate according to set standards. + Conduct hourly checks on caps and spouts based on product specifications. + Perform specified functional testing throughout the shift. + Record all quality data and test results accurately. + Troubleshoot production process problems and make authorized system changes. + Notify appropriate individuals when problems are not repairable to maintain production. + Perform Mattec changes and process adjustments as needed. + Follow proper procedures for mold line clearance and press clean down to prevent product contamination. + Conduct and document daily preventative maintenance, including cleaning mold faces and assembly machine tracks. + Perform material handling tasks, including emptying boxes, applying labels, and handling scrap. + Maintain a well-organized and clean shop floor, complying with all safety standards. + Perform general housekeeping duties, such as sweeping and trash removal. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role. + Experience with plastic injection preferred. + Experience in manufacturing processes. + Proficiency with hand tools and assembly. + Strong troubleshooting skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with plastics injection molding is an advantage. + Ability to perform assembly and inspection functions when required. **Why Work Here?** Join a team where employees are valued as the greatest asset. Shifts available: 1st shift (6:42 AM - 3:12 PM), 2nd shift (2:42 PM - 11:12 PM) with $1.00 differential, and 3rd shift (10:42 PM - 7:12 AM) with $2.00 differential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Slatersville, Rhode Island. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
