Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure support, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3 - Nightshift to join their dedicated team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3 - Nightshift, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Operations team, ensuring the seamless performance and safety of vital mechanical systems within a high-availability environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety protocols, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3 - Nightshift**
**Location: Boydton, VA**
**Pay Range:** **$48.23 - $53.09 on Experis W2 - (Benefits and PTO)**
**Required: Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks**
**Resource(s) will be working B-side day shift, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.**
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC units, chillers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems.
+ Escort and coordinate with third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers on-site to ensure safety and compliance.
+ Monitor equipment performance and conduct initial assessments to identify potential issues.
+ Adhere to all safety procedures and physical security policies during work activities.
+ Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ Previous experience working in data centers or high-availability critical environments.
+ Experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, industrial chillers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems.
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
+ At least 5 years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields like automotive, electrical, controls, or data center environments.
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or varied work weeks.
