The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare systems, AI technologies, and interoperability standards, enabling them to design and implement solutions that enhance patient care, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Architectural Leadership:** Define and drive the architectural vision for AI and interoperability solutions within the healthcare division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clinical objectives. + **AI Strategy Development:** Collaborate with executive leadership to develop a comprehensive AI strategy that leverages advanced technologies to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient engagement. + **Interoperability Framework:** Design and implement interoperability frameworks that facilitate seamless data exchange between disparate healthcare systems, ensuring compliance with standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM. + **Clinical Knowledge Integration:** Lead efforts to integrate clinical knowledge and best practices into AI solutions, ensuring that systems are designed to support clinical decision-making and enhance patient care. + **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and business units, to gather requirements, identify opportunities for AI and interoperability integration, and ensure stakeholder alignment. + **Research and Development:** Stay current with advancements in AI, interoperability standards, and healthcare technologies, evaluating their potential applications within the organization and driving innovation. + **Performance Monitoring:** Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of AI and interoperability solutions, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement. + **Compliance and Governance:** Ensure that all architectural initiatives adhere to regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and industry standards, promoting responsible AI usage and data governance within the healthcare environment. **Required Qualifications** + **Technical Skills:** + Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) as they apply to healthcare data. + In-depth knowledge of interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and healthcare data exchange protocols. + Proficiency in software development languages such as Python, Java, or C++. + **Software Engineering Skills:** Experience in software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery. + **Integration Enterprise Architecture Skills:** Expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions that connect various healthcare systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and interoperability. + **Architectural Skills:** + Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions. **Preferred Qualifications** + **Clinical Data Understanding:** Familiarity with clinical data types, sources, and standards, including experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical data analytics. + **Agentic AI:** Experience in designing and implementing agentic AI systems that can autonomously perform tasks and interact with users effectively. + Experience in developing and implementing clinical decision support systems. + Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards related to healthcare data (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). + Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). **Education** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD preferred. **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $144,200.00 - $288,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
