The Bell facility in Calgary, Alberta, is currently seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of solid experience in material planning and forecasting. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the Department of National Defence (DND) and contribute to strategic material initiatives supporting the Griffon helicopter fleet for the Canadian Military. The Griffon Program includes 83 helicopters stationed at various Canadian Military bases, serving roles in Search and Rescue (SAR) and Tactical Aviation operations.
They will also play a key role in supporting aircraft maintenance activities by developing strategies to ensure the availability of components required to meet DND maintenance schedules. Additionally, this position involves supporting day-to-day material requirements for multiple military squadrons through the Calgary branch.
Responsibilities
· Support Material requirements for specific Canadian Military squadrons by coordination with suppliers.
· Inform warehouse team of the transport and logistics methods based on priorities for the squadrons.
· Offer recommended solutions and mitigation strategies to address delayed material issues.
· Communicating by phone and email daily with customers.
· Support Military Material Prepositioning efforts strategic procurement strategies for the CH146.
· Support data analysis in efforts to support multiple Defense squadrons operating across Canada and deployments
· Support analysis and generate standardized metric reports to validate material planning efforts.
· Provide general administrative and warehouse support to the Calgary Spares Administration team, as well as embedded personnel across Canada
· Collaborate with teams across Canada and the Bell Textron organization.

Requirements
· Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service organization (preferably aviation)
· Previous experience in SAP, DRMIS, ERP/MRP or equivalent inventory management systems is an asset
· Experience in Forecasting is an asset
· Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
· Customer focused and interpersonal savvy to connect with stakeholders
· Action oriented in a fast-paced environment
· High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs
· Functional knowledge in French is required. Functional knowledge in English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.
· Must be available for on calls rotation on weekend

Security Clearance
Incumbent must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and will maintain NATO Secret security clearance as issued by the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada’s Public Services and Procurement Canada and BTCL security officers.
